But do you recall
The most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say
“Rudolph with your nose so bright
Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?”
On a frosty Christmas evening, far above the world below,
Rudolph led the team with courage, through the swirling icy snow.
All the others followed closely, trusting in his steady glow,
Guiding Santa through the darkness, where the winter winds would blow.
Through the clouds they drifted softly, over forests deep and still,
Rudolph saw the northern mountains, shining bright along the hill.
Every child was warm and sleeping, dreaming by the window sill,
While the team moved ever onward, keeping watch with skill and will.
When the storm grew loud and heavy, and the stars were hard to find,
Rudolph lit the path before them, with a warmth so gentle and kind.
Santa smiled with pride and whispered, that no reindeer is left behind,
For the glow inside your spirit is the brightest you will find.
So each Christmas night reminds us, when the skies turn silver blue,
Every light that shines with kindness shows the world what love can do.
Rudolph’s glow became a promise, that your heart can guide you through,
And the magic of the season always starts inside of you.
Then how the reindeer loved him
As they shouted out with glee (yipee)
“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
You’ll go down in history”

Das berühmteste Rentier überhaupt?
Rudolph das Rentier mit der roten Nase
Hatte eine sehr glänzende Nase
Und wenn Sie es jemals gesehen haben
Man würde sogar sagen, es leuchtet
Alle anderen Rentiere
Habe immer gelacht und ihn beschimpft
Sie ließen den armen Rudolph nie
Nehmen Sie an Rentierspielen teil
Dann ein nebliger Heiligabend
Der Weihnachtsmann kam, um es zu sagen
„Rudolph mit deiner so strahlenden Nase
Willst du heute Abend nicht meinen Schlitten führen?“
An einem frostigen Weihnachtsabend, weit über der Welt so tief,
führte Rudolph mutig vorne, durch den wirbelnden Schneesturm lief.
Alle anderen folgten nahe, seinem warmen und klaren Licht,
zeigten Santa still den Weg dort, wo der Winter scharf anbricht.
Durch die Wolken glitten sie leise, über Wälder still und weit,
Rudolph sah die nördlichen Berge, hell im schönen Winterkleid.
Jedes Kind lag warm und schlummernd, träumend an dem Fenstersims,
während all die treuen Rentiere zogen weiter, ernst und flink.
Als der Sturm laut tobte oben, und kein Stern mehr war zu sehn,
leuchtete Rudolph still und freundlich, ließ den Weg vor ihnen stehn.
Santa lächelte voll Stolz dann, sprach, kein Rentier bleibt allein,
denn das Licht in deinem Herzen ist das stärkste, das wir haben.
Jede Weihnachtsnacht erzählt uns, wenn der Himmel silbern glüht,
dass ein Licht, das Güte ausstrahlt, stets das Dunkel übertönt.
Rudolphs Leuchten wurde zum Zeichen, dass dein Herz den Weg dir weist,
und die wahre Weihnachtzauber stets in deinem Innern kreist.
Dann, wie das Rentier ihn liebte
Als sie vor Freude schrien (yipee)
„Rudolph das Rentier mit der roten Nase
Du wirst in die Geschichte eingehen“
